Yesterday will be remembered as a dark day in Missouri government history as scandal-ridden Eric Greitens, the Governor elected on a campaign of anti-corruption and ethics reform, has been indicted on a felony invasion of privacy charge stemming from his 2015 affair.  Greitens allegedly bound and photographed a woman while nude without her consent and threatened to use the photo as blackmail against her should she disclose the affair.  The incident took place at Greitens' home in St.

Governor's Budget Gets Dismal Reception

Embattled Governor Eric Greitens remains a man with very few friends in Jefferson City. After several elected leaders have asked him to step aside citing an inability to lead, Greitens released his proposed budget which included crippling cuts to higher education and a promise of even more tax cuts which would continue Missouri down the disastrous path of Kansas.  To the surprise of no one, it was met with immediate criticism from the Democratic leadership and university leaders.
