The Honorable Jack Campbell Passes Away
Former Kansas City area State Representative and well known attorney Jack Campbell, a great friend to the Democratic Party and dedicated civic leader, passed away on September 29th. Jack was born in Kansas City, graduated from Lee's Summit High School and the University of Missouri before beginning a distinguished career in law with the Missouri Gas Service, Polsinelli law firm and as the City Attorney of Parkville. Campbell loved and was active as a civil servant volunteering with a number of charitable causes and civic engagement groups, then was elected to the Missouri State House in 1980 serving several terms with distinction in the Democratic majority.
Jack was a true friend to the Kansas City and University of Missouri communities and will be dearly missed. Our thoughts are with his wife and former State Representative in her own time, Marsha Campbell.
